The Village of Arts & Humanities is a non-profit that brings visiting artists and community art projects to North Philadelphia. I edited 2 episodes in a series about their SPACES Artist In Residence program.

In the first, called “Relational Strategies,” Ghanaian artist Kwasi Ohene-Ayeh fosters a collective of young artists from North Philadelphia to spark creativity and relationships across the neighborhood.

The follow-up, “Material Memory,” is about Nigerian artist Olanrewaju Tejuoso, who works with neighbors to celebrate life and mourn loss in elaborate sculptures made from discarded materials.
